Heather's practice focuses primarily on individual children, adolescents and adults.
Heather has over ten years of experience providing direct patient care in mental health and substance use services. She has experience working in the tribal communities, working with families, working within a forensic environment as well as the court system as an evaluator and was a coordinator for the Mental Health, Veteran's Treatment, Driving Under the Influence and Drug Courts. She also has operated a private practice since 2020.
Heather completed a Bachelor of Social Work from Lewis-Clark State College in 2014; then completed a Master of Social Work from Boise State University in 2015. Heather is independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Idaho and the state of Montana.
Heather provides mental health and substance abuse assessments, individual psychotherapy, group treatment and Domestic Violence Evaluations. She is an approved provider through the Idaho Supreme Court.
Heather is an evaluator for the courts, she provides valuable information in relation to violence risk, possible substance abuse or mental health issues and provides recommendations to the judge.
Heather is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Moral Reconation and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She also has mitigation, basic and advanced forensic social worker certificates.
