About me
An experienced, affirming therapist who sees the whole person—not just the diagnosis.
Hi, I'm Hazel—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience helping individuals, families, and couples through some of life's most challenging moments. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional dysregulation, and I also have experience working with ADHD, autism, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders.
I don't treat diagnoses; I work with people. My approach is rooted in seeing you as a whole person, with your story, strengths, and lived experience. I'm a culturally affirming provider who understands that real, lasting change requires a therapist who genuinely gets the complexity of who you are and where you come from.
I became a social worker because I believe people are more capable of change than they are often given credit for—they just need the right support to get there. I work in a way that is warm, direct, and collaborative. I listen carefully, offer honest feedback, and create space where you feel genuinely heard. I believe you know yourself better than anyone, so I treat therapy as a partnership built around your goals.
Because every person is different, I take a flexible, individualized approach and draw from evidence-based methods when appropriate. Whether you're looking for concrete tools or simply a space to process, my goal is to help you gain insight, build on your strengths, and create lasting change.
