About me

I work with children, teens, and young adults utilizing a variety of modalities based on the unique needs of each individual. I provide support for a variety of issues including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, family issues, relationships, stress management, and grief/loss.

Are you tired of constantly comparing yourself to others and feeling stuck in a cycle of self-doubt? Have you ever been in a low mood thinking you can't change it so rather than working on it, you hide it? Do you have a tendency to overthink? Have you ever been overwhelmed by the daunting task of seeking help for yourself or your child, unsure of where to even begin? Do you ever feel so stressed you can't focus or feel emotionally exhausted? If you're seeking a compassionate and non-judgmental space to foster growth and healing, I invite you to take a courageous step forward and embrace the support that awaits you.

I believe in a person-centered approach, recognizing you are the expert of your own life and prioritizing your unique experiences and perspectives. Together, we can build a trusting relationship and create a safe environment where you can freely express yourself and feel genuinely heard and respected.

I recognize the importance of individuality and tailoring care specifically to each individual's journey in therapy. You can trust that I am dedicated to customizing our therapeutic journey to meet your individual goals and needs. Your progress and well-being are at the forefront of my approach. If at any point you feel that our therapy is not working as expected or hoped, I welcome open communication to adjust our methods and ensure we are on the most beneficial path for you and your needs.

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Grand Valley State University and I obtained my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Michigan, specializing in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, and Substance Use.

With my clinical experience working with diverse client populations, ranging from youth to adults, I provide compassionate support and guidance across a wide spectrum of issues. I adapt my approach to each individual's unique needs, utilizing various approaches such as play-therapy, mindfulness practices, interactive worksheets, or simply engaging in open conversations.

Whether it's your child's first time in therapy, your first time reaching out for help, returning from a break, or finding a new therapist after realizing the previous one wasn't the right fit, I understand that it takes great bravery to seek out therapy. This is your journey and it would be a privilege to support you along the way. I invite you to reach out and take that courageous step forward.
