About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) with a Bachelor of Social Work from Mars Hill University and a Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University. I have received extensive training in behavioral health, including Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and trauma-focused treatment.
Are you struggling to manage the stressors of life? Do you not know where to start in supporting your child or teen who is struggling? Then it is time to give therapy a try! I provide counseling to children, teens, and families, with specialties in depression, anxiety, self-esteem, the autism spectrum, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I am passionate about supporting middle, high school, and collegiate students in navigating the unique challenges that student-athletes face. I provide culturally sensitive and spiritually integrated counseling services to those who are interested in doing so.
As a dedicated social worker and clinician, I am committed to empowering you to become the catalyst for change in your own life. My approach is tailored; we will use intervention and treatment strategies that are customized to your specific needs and goals. I look forward to working with you, take the first step and let's get connected today!
At Full Circle Wellness, we work with children, teens, families, and young adults. We specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, , ADHD, self-esteem, grief, and trauma. Our clinicians are highly trained, and use evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, somatic techniques, and Solution Focused Therapy. We realize that no two people are the same, so we tailor our services to meet your specific needs.
We are passionate about you being well in your mind, body, spirit, and heart. When we pay attention to these areas of our lives, we thrive.
MIND: Our thoughts determine our feelings. Our feelings determine our behavior. We focus on identifying your thought patterns, how they are impacting you, and changing these patterns for the better.
BODY: Our bodies hold onto our stress. When things get tough, we will challenge you to move your body. Don’t worry, we won’t ask you to run 3 miles, a 10-minute walk will do!
SPIRIT: If interested, we provide Christian counseling as a way to bring you peace, hope and joy, as faith has been important to our own healing.
HEART: Betrayal, heartache, broken relationships, abuse, trauma—all of these things weigh us down. We focus on healing from the past, so it doesn’t impact your future.
You pick the area(s) you want to focus on, and you pick where we will start. We look forward to working with you!
