About me
My name is Gustavo Nava, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges.
I help my clients better understand the core sources of their emotional struggles while developing evidence-based skills to regulate their emotions and navigate difficult experiences with greater confidence and awareness.
During our first few sessions, you can expect us to establish a sense of rapport and safety that allows you to feel comfortable exploring your experiences, identifying your therapy goals, and developing clear objectives for our work together.
What makes my practice unique is the therapeutic relationship I build with my clients. I integrate relational and experiential approaches to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where people can feel comfortable talking about difficult emotions and exploring experiences that may be challenging to put into words.
I am passionate about this work because of the feedback I receive from my clients and the meaningful relationships we develop throughout the therapeutic process. I believe therapy is a collaborative experience in which both my clients and I learn from one another. I strive to build relationships grounded in trust, respect, and non-judgment, while supporting each person in developing a deeper understanding of themselves and creating meaningful change.
