Experienced therapist dedicated to promoting recovery from mental health, trauma and addiction related issues
As a professional clinical counselor with over 25 years of experience, I strive to assist clients in promoting their recovery using evidenced based practices delivered by advanced clinicians in a collaborative care manner that focuses on holistic health of the entire person. This is how I developed the name for my practice: REACH Center for Behavioral Health. As your therapist I will partner with you to work on developing the skills necessary to cope with life on life's terms. As a fully trained EMDR therapist, it allows me to target the source of your distress and neutralize it such that your day to day functioning improves...quicker than what you would experience in traditional talk therapy. Supplementing my EMDR therapy work with other evidenced based practices (Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) allows me to be flexible in my approach to tailor the therapy you receive to match your needs, whether those needs are mental health, trauma or addiction based. I specialize in working with clients who have co-occurring issues and my experience over the past 25 years has afforded me the ability to treat a wide-variety of behavioral health issues. Clients who work with me report feeling safe, supported and secure as they work on their personal recovery. I follow the lead my clients provide. Together we can make changes happen!!
