About me
I am an LCSWA dedicated to helping children and adults cope with anxiety, depression, ADHD, SI, NSSI, and other emotional and behavioral issues.
I would not say I have an ideal client. I believe everyone comes to therapy at different times and places in their recovery so I approach each person differently. I enjoy, and have experience working with all ages, races, sexes, and socioeconomic statuses. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment for anyone I have the opportunity to work with. I’m most passionate about working with children and their families. As a U.S. Navy Veteran and someone who has experienced great loss myself; I am a firm believer in the benefits of therapy.
If you choose me to be your therapist, I will bring a fresh set of eyes to what is going on in your life - With a commitment to listen, willingness to understand your circumstances and a drive to help you. I commonly use modalities such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT informed, and somatic experiencing and EMDR informed.
I will tailor our session to best fit your needs. I recognize that therapy is a very personal experience and finding a good fit is imperative. I’m dedicated to helping you find that best fit and appreciate the opportunity. Please reach out with any questions, I am happy to do a consultation with you before setting up a session.
