About me
I deeply value seeing the individual value of each person I have the privilege of sitting with. I believe that relationships are the vehicles to change-relationships with others and self. I think it is an honor to be able to encourage, advise and walk alongside individuals as they do the hard work of change. Because I believe that change happens in relationships, I seeks to make each person feel seen, known and to create an environment where all feel safe.
I works primarily with adolescents and women who are struggling with things like anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting issues, social skills and life transitions.
My therapeutic approach is full of empathy and practical solutions all the while maintaining a trauma lens. Although I lean towards a cognitive-behavioral and Internal Family System orientation, I tailor her approach based on the needs of the client. I seek to use creative forms of therapy, bringing art and movement whenever it is helpful.
I enjoys spending time with my husband and two kids. In my time off you will find me crafting, reading, going on outdoor adventures and trying new recipes. I am passionate about living in community with others and dedicate my time to fostering an inviting home where people feel loved and cared for and I hope to do the same when people walk into my office.
I has experience and training in the following areas: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Parenting, Grief, Children & Teen Issues, Relational Difficulties, Life Transitions, Emotion Regulation, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and more
