About me
Hello, my name is Grace (Pronouns: She/Her/Hers). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor from Oregon, and have worked in mental health for almost 14 years. This is my life's calling and I feel truly lucky to be a mental health professional. Thank you for considering me as your potential therapist.
I believe each person has a purpose, and is given unique gifts and challenges. Sometimes life becomes too stressful and chaotic to see your sense of self and purpose. My role is to strive in helping you meet your counseling goals, to live the healthy and balanced you are envisioning for the future. Therapy can be tremendously rewarding, however it is real work.
If you are committed to the process, it can be a deeply enriching and liberating process, with a satisfactory outcome. What you put into this experience is what you take away from it. Please know that throughout your process, I will be there to guide and support by offering insights and tools to assist you in coping and overcoming obstacles.
While I am supportive and caring, I will not tolerate any abusive language related to Black, Indigenous, People of Color, any member of the LGBTQI+ Community. I will not tolerate denigration of any culture, religion, ability level, or ethnicity, or political affiliation. Hate cannot abide within the boundaries of our professional therapeutic relationship. I take a strong stance on equality, and will not tolerate discrimination of any kind.
Together we can help you get back on track so you can live the life you visualize for yourself. I will be there to support you as you work towards feeling more like yourself, and moving towards your goals. It is possible to have relief and feel like yourself again.
Thank you, looking forward to our working together.
