About me
The uncertainty of the future, violence, financial and economic burdens can challenge anyone to feel helpless and hopeless in today’s world and can risk physical and mental well-being. Feeling anxious, depressed, grieving the death of a loved one, getting sick or injured, can question what is life’s purpose? Gloria believes her Life’s experiences and Clinical background can bring a beacon of light and help you find your life’s purpose. Gloria believes those experiencing their darkest moments and life struggles can benefit through therapy in giving meaning and happiness.
Gloria received her bachelor’s degree from UCLA and received her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. She comes from a generation of Angelenos, born and raised in Los Angeles. Gloria is a union member of Screen Actors Guild and has been in the Entertainment business for 20+ years which has given her insight into performance anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts stemming from the pressures and stressors in daily life.
Gloria wishes to give clients a purpose in life, encouragement and support in taking the first steps toward a happier, meaningful life during today’s life’s challenges. She has experience working with diversity populations ages 10-80, from different cultural and social- economic backgrounds.
Gloria provides therapy for Gambling Addiction which includes online gambling, working with the office of Problem Gambling. Offers Grief Therapy for all losses, a loved one; relationship ending; loss of homes from the fires; pets; Divorce.
Gloria has a 40-hour Certificate of Completion for Domestic Violence Advocate training; worked with Victims of Crime for the Los Angeles D.A. office; Gloria has helped clients restore their lives back, provided resources to heal, recover and thrive as survivors. Gloria has volunteered for the Suicide phone hotline and supports the “MeToo” movement against any sexual harassment, or violence toward all genders and race.
Gloria continues to be actively involved with both Universities Alumnus’ empowering and encouraging students to live to their fullest potential. She has been a university spokesperson for Pepperdine Seminars providing prospective students with her memorable student experiences. Today she is recognized as part of inaugural class of the UCLA Bruin Business 100 which honors 100 businesses that have made an impact in their industries and communities. Gloria admires the dedication of Veterans, whose father served in the military.
