I am an experienced psychologist who is dedicated to helping people better manage symptoms of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) such as Trichotillomania and Excoriation Disorder, and other anxiety disorders.

Are intrusive worries and hours of mental/physical rituals interfering in your or your child’s life? Have doubts and compulsive behaviors overshadowed your/their personality? OCD and BFRBs can surface at any age and the resulting distress and shame can be debilitating. At Oceanside Psychotherapy, I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with curiosity, mindfulness, and self-compassion. I strive to foster strong alliances with my clients so that we can work as a team in overcoming compulsive behaviors and return to living a meaningful life.

I specialize in treating OCD and BFRBs, such as trichotillomania (hair pulling) and excoriation disorder (skin picking). I collaborate with clients to create individually-tailored treatment plans and goals. I use evidence-based, culturally-sensitive practices and I have advanced training in ERP and HRT.
