I am an experienced licensed professional counselor with more than 25 years helping people of all ages in a variety of educational and mental health professional roles. I specialize in working with people who experience overwhelming sadness, feel isolated or unloved, seek healing from fractured relationships, or often feel anxious or chronic stress and want to develop a healthier outlook, find fulfillment & create deeper connections with self or others. I currently work with teens, adults and couples through video, phone and live chat.

I help people to feel heard, find acceptance and hope, even in the most challenging situation without facing the struggle alone. I will help you identify how core beliefs guide you, how the mind & body connect-disconnect throughout life experiences and how to then heal by creating solutions to find freedom, hope & connection . We will do this in each session while uncovering new possibilities for a more meaningful life.
Together, we will help you gain more self-compassion, confidence, & clarity while also relieving distress, building resilience and finding balance. We'll create your desired outcome for life & change attachments to the past which allows for lasting healing & change.
My focus is to provide an environment of safety and trust for exploring issues, finding solutions and learning new skills, centered on your needs. I utilize a combination of the following therapeutic approaches: Cognitive Behavior (CBT), Emotion Focused (EFT), Strength Based Therapy & Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. My counseling style is compassionate, encouraging, insightful and motivating. With your help, I am dedicated to identifying and working toward your personal counseling goals and reaching your desired outcomes. I also appreciate and understand the complexities of creating a sense of balance in life.
