Gina Chernosky is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years experience within the mental health field who is dedicated to helping children cope with anxiety and depression.
Gina Chernosky is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years experience within the mental health field. Gina obtained her Bachelors of Social Work at Wheelock College and her Masters of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago.
Gina has experience providing clinical services to children, adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. For the past eight years, Gina has become skilled in working collaboratively with professionals to provide counseling services and coordinate individualized aftercare to youth and adults in crisis. She has had management responsibility and has provided supervision to those working in the field. In her free time, Gina enjoys photography, crafting and reading as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Gina treats patients ages 6-26 drawing from several therapeutic techniques. Conditions that she has worked with include depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse and mood disorders. Gina also has extensive experience working with oppositional youth and those involved with DCYF or Juvenile Justice Services. Gina’s experience in the field paired with her passion for this work and appropriate use of creativity allow her to provide specialized care.
