About me
Hi, I’m Gillian.
I am credentialed in the UK with 7 years of professional experience supporting clients through challenges such as stress and anxiety, addictions, family conflict, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
I also have both personal and professional experience in working with limerence and intense emotional attachment. I understand how confusing, consuming, and painful it can feel to be caught in cycles of overthinking, longing, and emotional dependency. I have a particular interest in supporting clients who feel “emotionally hooked” in relationships or stuck in repetitive thought patterns.
My approach is trauma-informed and influenced by the work of Gabor Maté, particularly around how our early experiences can shape our emotional world. I believe that when we begin to understand the “why” behind our patterns, we create space for meaningful and lasting change.
I work with clients to create an open, safe, and compassionate space where thoughts and feelings can be explored without fear of judgment. Alongside this, I use practical tools and gentle structure to help you understand your triggers, manage overwhelming thoughts, and begin to step out of patterns that no longer serve you.
Taking the first step toward therapy can take a lot of courage, and I truly honour and respect that. If you’re here, you’ve already begun.
Please note: I am currently offering live text-based sessions only.
