About me
I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who is passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space for individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and self-doubt.
Maybe you’re navigating college, starting your career, figuring out relationships, or simply trying to understand who you are and what you want your life to look like. You may feel overwhelmed by expectations, stuck in your own thoughts, uncertain about the future, or like everyone else has it figured out except you. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, relationships, or a major life transition, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. I especially enjoy working with college students and young adults as they navigate the unique challenges that come with this stage of life, including academic and career stress, changing relationships, independence, identity, self-esteem, and the pressure to figure out what comes next. I also work with adolescents, adults, and couples.
My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about what’s going on. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, as you know yourself best, and my role is to help you better understand your experiences, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop tools that support the life you want to build.
My approach to therapy is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered therapy. I may incorporate these approaches to help you work through anxious thoughts, build self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with your values. I also have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and enjoy helping couples understand their emotional needs, attachment patterns, and ways of connecting with one another.
Most importantly, I want therapy to be a space where you don’t have to pretend you have everything figured out. Life transitions can bring uncertainty, but they can also create opportunities for growth and discovering what truly matters to you. We can start wherever you are, make sense of what you’re experiencing together, and work toward helping you feel more confident, grounded, and connected to yourself and the people around you.
