About me
Gertie provides Clinical Supervision, as well as psychotherapy for individuals, teens, families, and couples. She brings in humor, storytelling, attachment work weaving in neuroscience, polyvagal skill acquisition, somatic based interventions, using the relationship with self, others, and nature as a vehicle for healing and growth.
Healing Connections is a collective of therapists bringing rich experiences, backgrounds, education and approaches into their work. We work with developmental & complex trauma, trauma informed approaches, anxiety, depression and myriad mood disorders, addictions, relationship challenges, life transitions, adults, couples, and teens. We apply cutting edge research based approaches including EMDR, attachment based, mindfulness based, somatic, neuroscience and polyvagal Informed, parts work, PACT and EFT, as well as CBT, DBT and much more into our work with clients to assist in finding trauma resolution and skillful management of ongoing symptoms, relief, and emotional wellness with holistic approaches and lenses.
