We care, but sometimes the way we care hurts. And all too often, we get stuck in that hurt. I help you unstick stuck conversations, explore new ways to connect safely. I especially enjoy working with couples and relationships.
35 years of professional experience, calm and curious, I help you shift complaints into desires, learn ways to feel better about yourself and those you love, and heal personal and relational pain. We first explore where you may be stuck, then I suggest ways to improve your connection with partners, children and friends. My understanding of how we can manage pain and love better is rooted in the science of Interpersonal Neurobiology and the Polyvagal Theory, big ideas that are translated into exercises you can easily apply. That's how you retrain old habits and repair and deepen connections.
