About me

Dwayne is an experienced therapist. Creating a healing environment for teens, adults, and couples is my passion.

Dwayne brings a heartfelt dedication and a lifetime of caring for others to his work as a therapist. With his genuine, welcoming presence, clients quickly feel at ease sharing their thoughts and concerns, knowing they are met with compassion and understanding. Dwayne listens thoughtfully and ensures his clients feel truly heard and supported.
As a licensed therapist for the past six years, Dwayne draws on a rich and varied background to connect deeply with those he serves. Before entering private practice, he dedicated 23 years to working with at-risk youth and their families at a residential facility, fostering hope and healing. His roles as a youth pastor, school bus driver, and U.S. Navy sailor have shaped his unique ability to empathize with people from all walks of life.
Outside of his work, Dwayne’s greatest passion is his family—his wife, four adult children, and their shared love of hiking and exploring the great outdoors.
In therapy, Dwayne tailors his approach to each client's specific needs. He offers a range of individual therapies, including EMDR, IFS, TF-CBT, CBT, CPT, and specializes in supporting survivors of childhood and adult trauma to help them move beyond their symptoms and find renewed strength.
Dwayne also loves working with couples, helping them build deeper, more fulfilling connections. He often incorporates Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy to help partners deepen their understanding and intimacy.
Dwayne’s warmth, skill, and unwavering care create a safe and empowering space for his clients to grow, heal, and thrive.
