Georgina is deeply committed to helping individuals overcome various challenges.

Meet Georgina Fontein, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (Lic. #106937) and Nevada (Lic. #2556). With a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, she brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion. Georgina is deeply committed to helping individuals overcome various challenges, including sadness, eating issues, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
Georgina has specialized training in suicide prevention, trauma treatment for children, perinatal and postpartum treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, crisis intervention, positive parenting, and eating disorders. She strives to inspire positive change in her clients' lives.

In addition to her clinical work, Georgina regularly volunteers for ANAD (Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders), which is a leading non-profit in the U.S. that provides free services to those struggling with eating disorders. Georgina is also an Eating Disorder Ambassador for the Eating Disorder Coalition. She runs a small private practice, the Center for Repose of Mind, in Northern Nevada, and supervises student Therapists from various clinics in Nevada.
