I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has been providing psychotherapy for over thirty years. I am providing services on-line and can see anyone in the state of Missouri. I take insurance. Much of my career has been in medical and law enforcement environments, along with outpatient clinics. I have been a resource for other therapists. If you are a leader, healer, protector, caregiver, teacher, or manager, it can be difficult to allow yourself to be a receiver of the healing, care and protection you readily offer to others. Honoring yourself with the same care you give is not a luxury-it can help you feel more grounded, resilient and effective in your professional and personal life. Anxiety, depression and trauma are my greatest areas of experience. Interventions I utilize include EMDR, psychodynamic, ACT and CBT. My greatest strength has been building trusting relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. Using a trauma informed care approach, I create a safe collaborative space where you feel heard and understood. I combine warmth with honesty, respecting your lived experience. I honor your truth while exploring new perspectives and actions to promote healing and change. My goal is to enter your experience, clarify what matters most to you, and help you move toward meaningful healing and change. My style is active and engaged, while also allowing space for quiet reflection and emotional processing when needed. From our first session I want you to feel heard, understood and hopeful.
