About me
**I’m a pre-licensed counselor-in-training, practicing counseling under supervision.**
How I Show Up in Therapy:
My vibe is gentle, open, and collaborative. I’m not a silent, judging-you-from-the-corner kind of therapist. I’m present with you and help guide your exploration with curiousity, empathy and a genuine interest in understanding your experience. As a neurodivergent therapist, I also bring a lot of patience, flexibility, and humor into the room. I know what it’s like to have a brain that doesn’t follow norms, and I welcome that to our space.
What Makes My Approach Different:
If you’re tired of going to therapy and chatting about how your week went, only to leave feeling like nothing is really changing, depth work may be for you. I work from an existential and depth-oriented perspective, which means that each week, we take what’s happening in the present and use it as a starting point to explore where the pattern started, why it keeps showing up, what it’s protecting you from, and ultimately, how to loosen its grip. My goal is not surface-level symptom management, but rather, to foster deep, lasting healing.
Because trauma lives in the body as much as the mind, I also integrate somatic approaches, helping clients tune into their physical signals, stored tensions, and survival strategies encoded in their nervous system. The body tells a story that we hear once we learn how to listen.
My work centers adults and teens who are navigating:
-Trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD
-Grief, loss, or life transitions
-Neurodivergence
-Identity exploration
In our work together, clients often learn to:
-Build a sense of home and safety within their body
-Understand the patterns shaped by earlier experiences
-Reconnect with values, meaning, and purpose
-Give their grief space to be felt
-Develop compassion for all parts of themselves
-Create more authentic relationships with themselves and others
Identity + Inclusivity:
I welcome LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients with intention and care. I see therapy as a healing and empowering practice that is also inherently political. Therefore, therapy is an opportunity for all to reclaim their voice, their story, and their sense of self despite a world that may demand the opposite.
A Little About Me:
I am from one of the smallest towns in Pennsylvania and now reside in Wellsboro after choosing to stay in Tioga County following graduation from Mansfield University. I live with my spouse, our 15-year-old pug named "Conrad," and our 6 cats! In my freebie, I enjoy music, writing, art, scrolling social media and binging shows with my spouse.
I am currently working at multiple practices for in-person therapy and do provide virtual sessions, as well. Please reach out and I will help find the best fit for you!
