About me
I help couples resolve issues that keep them from recapturing the loving feelings that brought them together.
I specialize in working with couples, married or unmarried, of all genders and preferences. Spouses and partners commonly attribute their conflicts to poor communication. Often, feelings of anger and resentment have become so dominant in the relationship that every communication is tinged with criticism or contempt. My goal with couples is to short circuit these destructive patterns of communication. All by itself that can lower tension. And that sets the stage for real work on the issues that constrain a couple's ability to recapture the loving feelings that once brought them together. I received my masters degree in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University and have been in practice for 25 years. I see couples throughout Illinois online.
