About me
I provide individual online teletherapy for California adults with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, OCD, prenatal/postpartum struggles, parenting, or LGBTQA+ concerns.
Greetings! My name is Gail (she/they) and I provide individual online teletherapy for adults. In therapy, I provide a warm, accepting, calm presence. I strike a balance between reflection and skill-building to help you make lasting changes. CBT and narrative therapy are used to help with everything from the smallest worry to the big picture of living your best life. Evidence-based strategies are incorporated to help you achieve your goals and make lasting changes. I tailor my approach to you by emphasizing assets like your strengths or spirituality.
I believe you are the expert in your own life, and you have the power to change your story. We don’t live in a vacuum, so together we will explore the influence of your family, community and culture. Everyone is doing the best they can with what they have, and I can help you find the tools that will work better for you.
Pregnancy and postpartum mental health is a specialty of mine, and I work with parents experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, and trauma-related symptoms. I also work with adult clients experience anxiety, depression, grief, parenting struggles, relationship challenges, OCD, trauma, LGBTQIA+ concerns, or gender questioning.
I am a Licensed MFT (LMFT128899) and received my M.S. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from San Francisco State University. This program had a strong emphasis on multicultural counseling. I received my B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My undergraduate studies continue to inform my work as I strive to provide an accepting and culturally responsive environment for clients. I am currently providing online teletherapy for adults through Allminds. I currently accept private pay ($130/session) and Northern California Kaiser.
In my free time I love spending time outdoors with my husband and three children. I also enjoy cooking, reading and crocheting.
