About me
Your life is your history. It impacts how you think, feel (emotional and bodily sensations), and respond (behavior). My goal is to help you understand how your past disrupts your present experiences. We'll then utilize your strengths while integrating techniques to learn how to create a more hopeful future. Whatever your story or current struggle, it would be my honor to come alongside you to support you in a manner that meets your needs. I offer a safe, judgment-free zone so we can process your struggle, build hope, and discover what it means to write a new future for yourself. I offer in-person and telehealth. Email or call me to get started.
Meeting a therapist can feel like the unknown. Thoughts can range from, "What will this complete stranger think of me?" to " Can this therapist actually help me?" There are a few basics I communicate to all of my clients. First, this is a completely judglmental free zone. There is nothing you can say about yourself or your situation that will make me think less of you. Second, your sturggle is real, it matters to you, and it creates a degree of pain. Third, you have a story and that story is what impacts how you think, feel, and respond to your present day struggle. On some level, this may add another level of pain or discomfort. Lastly, your present story may feel like frustration, anxiety, or even hopelessness. I want to help you work through a process to overcome the present moment of pain while creating a more hopeful future.
