About me
I specialize in OCD/Anxiety using Exposure and Response Prevention.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, I work with adults who are tired of feeling pushed around by anxiety, OCD, trauma, stress, and other patterns that keep life feeling smaller than it should.
My approach is active, practical, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. I do not believe therapy should be vague, passive, or endless. Good therapy should help you understand what is happening, know why it is happening, and give you a clear path forward. My role is to help you build that path with honesty, skill, and intention.
I have experience helping clients with OCD, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, trauma, depression, body-focused repetitive behaviors, life stress, and major transitions. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but internally exhausted. Some are used to performing well while silently struggling. Others feel stuck in cycles of fear, avoidance, overthinking, shame, or emotional burnout. Therapy can help interrupt those patterns.
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I will meet you with respect, but I will also be honest with you. I do not believe healing comes from judgment or from sugarcoating. It comes from understanding yourself more clearly, learning new ways to respond, and practicing change in a way that actually fits your life.
Depending on your needs, I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and other structured methods that support lasting change. Treatment is tailored to the person in front of me rather than forced into a one-size-fits-all formula.
If you are looking for a therapist who can help you move beyond survival mode and toward a richer, more meaningful life, I would be honored to work with you.
