About me
I believe you deserve a space where you can be open, understood, and supported—without judgment or pretense. I provide that space, guiding you in shifting negative thought patterns, staying grounded through mindfulness, and building on your strengths to foster resilience. Through this journey, I will help you reconnect with yourself, gain clarity, and cultivate self-compassion.
I can relate to how it may seem like you have it all together on the surface, but deep down, it feels as if everything is falling apart. As a female and a woman of color, today’s hurried lifestyle often comes with a lot of hurts, disappointments, and challenges. If you’re dealing with any type of loss, life might feel changed in ways others can’t fully see or understand. It may appear that you’re doing okay, but inside you feel lost, weighed down, and alone in your grief. I understand because I have been where you are. Whether you’ve lost a loved one, a relationship, a job, an empty nest, a dream, or a part of yourself, each day might feel like a struggle between holding it all together and just wanting to let go. You need a space where you don’t have to pretend, where you can be open about what you’re experiencing and feel truly understood. I am here to provide that space you need to be you.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with over four years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, mood disorders, spiritual concerns, and premarital counseling.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Troy University. My diverse background includes experience in teaching social skills, facilitating group therapy, leading Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for mental health and substance use, academic counseling, individual and couples therapy, and providing Christian counseling.
Using a tailored, client-centered approach, I incorporate Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Mindfulness to meet each client's unique needs. My goal is to help you feel whole, confident, and empowered to live fully.
