I am experienced trauma and grief therapist who uses somatic and polyvagal tools to help women and some men work through and manage their anxiety, depression, and other disorders to build a more peaceful, more functional life. My current passion is working with Dream Tending to get to what nature and the imaginal space is wanting you to work with in the here and now.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a lifetime of experience in practice.

My passion in my practice is helping people find their true selves buried under the suffocating weight of the trauma and abuse they have survived. I am not an expert on your life, so I need to hear your story, see the place you're standing. From there, we can find your path forward, working as collaborating partners to develop plans, tools, and treatments tailored to you. As stated above, my current passion is dream tending, but other techniques I employ are somatic experiencing and EMDR.

I am not a stranger to therapy. I have had good and not-so-good therapists, and those experiences helped inform the kind of therapist I wanted to be, both in what I want to do and what I want to avoid. My upbringing discouraged me from seeking help outside of an insular community, so I know firsthand how powerful taking that first step is.

Seeking therapy doesn’t mean you are weak. It means you are wise enough to admit that you need help, and strong enough to take that first step toward healing. Once you take that first step, every step after it gets a little easier.
