About me
Empowering you to heal, grow, and thrive. I am an experienced clinical psychologist that provides personalized support for your mental health journey.
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New York and New Jersey, I'm Dr. Fanny Ng, and I'm dedicated to helping individuals reclaim their well-being and reconnect with what matters most. My practice offers a supportive and collaborative environment where we can work together to address the unique challenges you face.
I specialize in supporting clients navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, worry, and perfectionism, as well as depression and low motivation. My expertise also extends to helping those experiencing grief, loss, and significant life transitions, alongside issues such as race-based trauma and identity stress. I have a deep understanding of burnout, caregiver fatigue, sleep difficulties, and stress-related health problems, including chronic illness and pain. I am also passionate about supporting women's mental health and achieving work/life balance.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and rooted in evidence-based practices. I integrate effective modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion practices, empowering you with practical tools for lasting change. My work is informed by a feminist multicultural perspective, and I am proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming. To further support my clients, I also offer therapy sessions in Cantonese, providing a comfortable space for individuals who prefer to process their experiences in their native language.
Your journey toward healing and growth is unique, and I am here to provide personalized support every step of the way. Let's work together to help you thrive.
