I am an experienced EMDR trained Counselor, who specializes in trauma processing. When a child experiences a trauma, which can be from being bullied at school , a parent or sibling that puts the child down over and over again or a big T trauma like Neglect, physical or sexual abuse, the feeling associated to it get stuck in our warning system and any reminder of the event will trigger the same feeling we had when the trauma first happened. The trauma may be from when a person was eight and they may feel the triggers all their life, some cases a person may believe they are back in the trauma when triggered (PTSD). Negative thoughts we say to ourselves come from something in our past and EMDR can help you process and let go of the stuck negative feelings and thoughts that are holding you back. Replace them with positive thoughts and build self-confidence.

I am over 40 and have had loved helping people all my life. I have been through many trauma throughout my life and have discovered EMDR is a great way to Process and let go of the trauma's so I do not have the anxiety and triggers of the past. I am the youngest of 8 and grew up in a small town. I have been a LPC for over two years. I learned EMDR when I was an intern and have been using it since. I use tappers for the bilateral stimulation. I use IFS, Ego state, CBT, Hypnotherapy, Somatic therapy and Gestalt tools combined with EMDR to create the resources needed to help contain and heel the hurt ego states one at a time.
