Working together, we'll create the treatment plan designed to meet YOUR needs. Trained in Developmental Needs Meeting Strategies, ongoing training in Psychodrama, and holding a master's level certificate in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy, I follow Carl Rogers' approach to being present. Rogers believed that therapist's unconditional positive regard, accurate empathy (being with client's in their challenges and not being in the challenges with the clients), listening without judgement, and therapist's genuine presence could support clients as they reclaim their ability to cultivate healing within themselves. This way of being present leads my clients to say to me "I've never told any one this before . . . . ." AND "I knew I had the tools I needed and somehow I'd lost them. You've helped me re-discover and better use them. " I'm honored to become a trusted companion on life's journey and look forward to being present to YOUR healing journey.
