Erin Wysong-Warren is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) in Dallas, TX. Erin uses dynamic psychotherapy, also known as an insight-oriented therapy, which focuses on unconscious processes that manifest in a person’s present behavior. This type of therapy is designed to help clients of all ages understand how their unconscious feelings and thoughts affect the ways they act, react, think, feel, and relate. Erin also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with this approach, and uses both EMDR and Somatic Experiencing® for the treatment of all types of trauma-related issues.
Erin aims to help people experience life more deeply, enjoy more satisfying relationships, resolve painful conflicts, and better integrate all the parts of their personalities. Erin focuses her attention on helping individuals, couples, families and groups with recovery from developmental and relational trauma, male and female parental enmeshment, physical and sexual abuse, sexual compulsion and addiction, substance and other behavioral addictions, betrayal trauma, and codependency, as well as other mental health concerns like grief, depression, anxiety, and life transitions at any stage. Erin conducts Family of Origin trauma intensive workshops, as well as workshops for female enmeshed adults and partners of enmeshed adults.
