Professional Experience
Erin’s career began in social services, where she worked extensively with at-risk populations to address mental health, substance abuse, and family dynamics. She later joined the Department of Corrections, providing counseling, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation support to incarcerated individuals. This role deepened her understanding of systemic trauma and reinforced her commitment to restorative care.

In 2021, Erin founded her private practice to specialize in complex trauma, with a particular focus on military personnel and veterans. Drawing on two decades of experience, she integrates trauma-informed modalities—cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and narrative therapy—to help clients rebuild resilience, process traumatic memories, and cultivate healthier coping strategies.

Areas of Specialization
• Complex Trauma and PTSD
• Veteran and Military Mental Health
• Crisis Intervention and Risk Assessment
• Grief, Loss, and Bereavement
• Family Systems and Relationship Dynamics

Community Engagement
Erin is an active advocate for suicide prevention and mental health awareness. She volunteers with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, participating in Out of the Darkness Community Walks and local educational events. Through these efforts, she aims to reduce stigma, foster open conversations around mental health, and support those affected by suicide.

Erin Myers combines clinical expertise, real-world experience, and a compassionate spirit to guide her clients toward lasting recovery and personal growth.
