About me
I work with clients from a person centered perspective to help them process, cope, and flourish through challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship/family difficulties, and anger.
I feel so passionately that everyone needs a space to work through their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and that is what I strive to provide. I have a lot of experience helping clients process trauma and family situations, cope with anxiety and depression, and successfully navigate big life changes. It can be so intimidating to feel pressured to expose the most vulnerable parts of your story to a person you barely know. Therapy is a relationship that builds, and my hope is that clients feel comfortable setting the pace.
I worked a lot with trauma, trafficking victims, and refugees, as well as families, children, adults, and couples and have continued working with all of these populations in my practice. Although I integrate many modes of therapy into session depending on the client's needs, I am always person-centered, because each individual has a unique story and needs.
Many clients say they feel better even after an initial session with me, often describing a weight lifted and a feeling of hope. My goal is that each client feels validated and not alone, while also feeling empowered and challenged to take an active part in their own recovery. The easiest way to reach me is on Headway.
