Hello. I am Erik J. Erickson, LCSW #108094. I have been providing therapy since 2006. I am a firm believer that all of us experience troubling times throughout life, and as hard as it is to admit, we could all use a helping hand at some point. Especially in the challenging times of today with recent environmental stressors such as Covid-19, mass shootings, political polarization, etc. let alone our own personal stressors including day-to-day difficulties. I believe that psychotherapy can help make life less difficult/Challenging. I believe in a center-person approach using primarily CBT/DBT modalities and that everyone has the inherent ability for mental health wellness and recovery. I learned early in my adult life that I wanted to help people and like to say that opportunities arose along the way. I have a lot of experience working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, personality disorders, mood disorders, and many other afflictions. I also provide couples therapy as well. Sorry, but I am not accepting insurance at this time. Thank you for your interest.
