About me
I have over a decade of experience as a therapist working primarily with teenagers and adults. Through this time, I have developed strong expertise in helping clients navigate stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and parenting concerns, among many other struggles that tend to come with the ups and downs of life.
My approach centers on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where I can help you explore the impacts of your past and current experiences on your life patterns. I do not take the mentality that it is my job to fix your problems for you; I do not have that power and if it was that easy then you likely would have already done it yourself. Instead, I view it as my job to provide the supportive environment that will allow you to gain the self-awareness and self-acceptance necessary to adjust your own life and your own mental-emotional patterns in the ways that you want. Often, life experiences leave us with struggles like anxiety, guilt, shame, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and many others that can prevent us from doing just that. My expertise is in empowering you, rather than in telling you how to live your life.
Whether you're working through past trauma, strengthening relationships, adjusting parental approaches, or learning to treat yourself with kindness, I'm here to support your journey. I draw on evidence-based therapeutic practices to help you gain clarity, develop new skills, and move forward as the person that you want to be. My work is grounded in respect for your values and beliefs, and I'm committed to meeting you exactly where you are.
Seeking support takes courage, and I would be honored to be part of your journey.
