About me
As an experienced therapist and researcher who specializes in relational trauma, I understand how challenging it can be to regain your sense of self during times of change and stress. My aim is to help you feel less burdened by past hurts, build resilience for dealing with conflict and relationship struggles, and find your way through the complex, yet beautiful, journey of being human in a world that often feels demanding and imperfect.
My approach is based on the strong mind-body connection, emphasizing feeling safe in our bodies. I see therapy as a caring space, not just fixing problems, where you can deepen your self-awareness, explore new possibilities, and connect more deeply with the life you want. I use trauma-focused, body-centered, and internal family systems (IFS) techniques to help you feel safer, more connected, and present in the moment. When suitable, I’m also trained and certified to use the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) to support your journey.
I offer weekly and biweekly counseling for adults aged 18-50 and provide diagnostic assessments to help develop personalized treatment plans and accommodations, giving you clearer insights into your mental health.
With four years of experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, life changes, questions about identity, and everyday stress, I aim to be someone you can trust—honest, caring, and straightforward. My style is warm and direct; I may challenge you in ways that feel tough at first, always respecting your boundaries and readiness. I want to create a space where you can be your authentic self—without judgment—and feel truly supported as you work toward growth.
