About me
Starting counselling can feel like a lot, especially if you’ve been holding things in for a long time. There’s no pressure to share everything at once or to have the right words — we’ll take things slowly and at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My aim is to offer a warm, accepting, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to be yourself.
I work in an integrative way, meaning I adapt therapy to suit you and what you need. I take a holistic approach, recognising the connection between mind, body, and emotions, and may gently offer grounding or breathing techniques if they feel helpful. We might focus on what’s happening for you in the present, look back at past experiences, or work creatively if that feels like a good fit.
I believe that you are the expert on your own life, even when things feel confusing or overwhelming. I won’t tell you what to do, but will support you as you explore and make sense of your experiences, with the hope that you leave therapy feeling more confident, kinder to yourself, and better able to cope day to day.
