About me
I am dually trained as a counselor and interfaith chaplain. I use parts work (IFS and Voice Dialogue) and other tools to support folks with challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, 2SLGBTQIA+ identity, and spiritual / religious trauma.
Using IFS and other tools, I help people navigate overwhelm, anxiety, ADHD, and relationship challenges to cultivate sustainable well-being and lifelong integration. Maybe you're experiencing feelings of disconnect and reactivity—emotions that feel massive, confusing, or absent altogether. Maybe executive dysfunction or sociopolitical distress is stalling your daily tasks. Or maybe a strained relationship or harsh inner critic is weighing you down. My aim is to help you break patterns of self-abandonment, practice being with your experience, process your emotions, work with your mind, and show up in alignment with your values.
I support clients in accessing their own intuitive healing potential through a mix of tools for short-term relief and supported exploration of lifelong patterns and parts within the psyche. Part of us always knows where our work for the present moment lies, and I help clients discern that voice and listen to it so that we can proceed in that work together.
My approach is:
-Collaborative - you are the expert on your life and experience
-Intuitive - I draw on my own spiritual and meditative practices to discern the path forward
-2SLGBTQIA+ affirming, ENM, and sex positive - your intersecting identities are not only welcome, but encouraged to enter the healing space as we get to know all of you
-Parts work based - IFS and Voice Dialogue
-Abolitionist - I minimize the involvement of the carceral state, law enforcement, and involuntary confinement while fulfilling my ethical and legal obligations. For clients using insurance, I strive to be as transparent as possible about diagnosis and what goes in insurance records, and share only what is required with insurance.
-Practical - some change is internally based, and some change comes from our routines, habits, and communication approaches
Living is hard. Living in world not designed for or affirming of your your neurotype, gender identity, sexual identity, or spiritual path is harder.
Being a human is hard. We're all just practicing.
I offer TeleHealth therapy (NC residents) and coaching (all states) on a sliding scale. Consultation calls (15–30 minutes) are always free. If my approach resonates with you I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation call to see if we might be a good fit!
