About me
I am an experienced LMFT working with individuals, couples and families.
My approach to therapy is warm and collaborative. I listen intuitively, and respect the client's expertise on the client’s own experience. In therapy sessions, we are partners in identifying and building on your strengths. Together, we clarify your goals and clear away obstacles so you can move forward. My interests include ADHD, couples, parenting, single parenting, blending families, struggling teens, and multigenerational effects on families as the oldest generation ages.
I have a special interest in supporting parents of children with ADHD. Strong, positive relationships are a powerful protective factor against the challenges that often accompany ADHD—anxiety, depression, oppositionality. etc. The worries and frustrations of parenting children with ADHD can disrupt those relationships. I would love to help you repair and maintain your attunement with your child.
I hold a master's degree from Bank Street College of Education in addition to my master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a certified ADHD clinical services provider. Contact me for information about individual, couple, or family therapy, or about my support group for parents of kids with ADHD,.
