About me
I start treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. I explore body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, I utilize a trauma and somatic focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.
I am prompt, courteous, and thought provoking. Previous clients have expressed appreciation for my direct communication style, sense of humor, and progressive approach to mental health and healing. My passions include working with those dealing trauma, dissociation, functional neurological disorders, anxiety, and depression; along with folks with unique spiritual beliefs and experiences. I also truly enjoys men’s mental health and helping men heal and create the lives they desire. In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains, spending time with my dog, and listening to new music releases.
