Licensed Clinical Social Worker

About me
I am an experienced clinical social worker who is dedicated to assisting children as they learn to manage their feelings and behaviors and grow into kind, thoughtful adults.
I work primarily with children and teens; I use both play therapy and talk therapy techniques with clients as appropriate as we work together in therapy. I have a passion for experiential therapy. I believe the most important element of therapy is the therapist's unconditional positive regard for the client. A client's capacity for growth increases according to how much they believe others believe in them. As a therapist, I believe my job is to provide clients with a warm, positive environment where they are able to express themselves and be heard. They are then able to talk about difficult issues and problem-solve knowing that I will listen.
