About me
Hi! I'm Emily, and I'm passionate about helping clients navigate life's ups and downs. Have you been feeling overwhelmed or stressed from the challenges life has thrown your way? I know from personal experience that navigating life's challenges whether its trauma or grief, or everyday stress can be overwhelming. I provide a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, valued and empowered. I am committed to providing compassionate care and will do my best to support you.
If you're looking for a therapist who strives to help her clients feel comfortable, someone who is relatable and easy to talk to we will probably be a great fit for one another. I aim to make the process of getting started in therapy as easy as possible. I'm committed to helping clients heal and understand that this is a process and it can take time. I also understand how important it is to find a therapist who you trust and feel comfortable with. My journey, both personally and professionally has deepened my commitment to helping others heal, grow and thrive. At my core, I value family, friendship, creativity, compassion and integrity. In my work with children, adolescents and family, I've supported those impacted by grief, trauma, anxiety and depression. I also have experience working with neurodivergence. I am an advocate of honoring each person's individual strengths and needs. I believe in celebrating the unique ways our brains work. I'm a mental health therapist with Best Life Therapy. I offer in-person appointments on Saturday in Davison on the world's most comfortable couch! I also offer remote appointments during the weekdays. Best Life Therapy is in the process of opening up a larger office in Flint Township soon and may expand to more locations in Michigan to better serve clients. With a bachelor's degree in psychology, a minor in Health Promotion and a master's in social work from Michigan State University,
I have the education, training and experience to support you. To make the process of scheduling easy, new clients can visit our website and reserve their initial appointment at any time. It does not matter what time of the day or night it is, when you're ready to get started, just visit our website and select an appointment time that works best for you.
