About me
I love building the therapeutic relationship with compassion, grace, a little bit of humor and professional insight to provide the most comfortable environment to address your mental health and relationship concerns.
Most of us will experience at least one hard story in our lifetime. Often, we endure so much more. These hard stories can shape who we are, affect our mental health, influence our relationships, alter our outlook on life or define the way we live our lives. My specialty is working with “hard story people,” including individuals or couples coping with adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, employment/career concerns, grief/loss, chronic illness or physical health concerns, trauma and relationship issues.
At times, we may struggle trying to solve our own problems. As we carry the weight of our hard stories for days, weeks or even years, we can feel lost and helpless, uncertain about what to do or where to go with these issues.
As your therapist, I strive to provide a place for you to go with all of it…and I mean, ALL of it! I provide you the environment to explain, process and grow through these hard stories. I will listen to you with empathy, as I recognize many struggles do not have quick, easy solutions.
I will work with you, as we problem solve and determine the next steps to bring you closer to a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life.
