I am an experienced psychologist whose primary practice focus is assisting people from eighteen years old to seventy plus years old deal with significant and difficult life issues such as anxiety, depression, loss/grief, divorce, life stage changes, and aging.
Since the pandemic my practice has evolved to reflect the life changes necessary to accommodate the current needs of people. For one, I maintain my physical office space in Berkeley Lake for people who are appropriately COVID-19 vaccinated and want in person sessions. For those who prefer telehealth sessions I can work online and by phone. I have been in individual practice since 1984 but, like most of us, I have found the need to evolve and update my services for the current environment and level of knowledge. I see myself as a guide or navigator with a map or GPS to assist you in making your therapeutic trip, but you are controlling the steering wheel, the accelerator, and the brakes. I cannot control them because they are within you, but I will work to guide you by what my information sources indicate are the probable results of various speeds and directions so you can make appropriate choices for yourself.
