About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker who supports adults in managing anxiety, ADHD, depression, and the impact of trauma.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain while managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or the effects of trauma. You might be looking for a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged, while also gaining practical tools for change. I work with adults who want to build coping skills, find greater clarity and confidence, and move toward healing that aligns with their values, faith, and sense of purpose.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with several years of clinical experience working with adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including practice both before and after independent licensure. My approach is collaborative, practical, and skills-focused. Together, we identify patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, then develop effective strategies to improve emotional regulation, reduce distress, and support lasting change. I often incorporate structured tools, guided exercises, and bibliotherapy to help clients apply insights between sessions.
I also bring specialized training in adoption-competent care through the Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) program at the Center for Adoption Support and Education (CASE). My clinical background includes practice under my advanced practice social work license as well as experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
In our early sessions, I focus on understanding your story, strengths, and goals. From there, we create a personalized treatment plan and work step-by-step toward meaningful progress. Therapy is a personal journey, and I aim to provide a supportive, respectful environment where growth can occur at your pace.
I currently offer online therapy sessions via secure video on Thursdays, Fridays, and Tuesday evenings.
I am in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and select related behavioral health networks, and I work with Headway to manage insurance billing and benefits verification. Session costs vary by plan and typically involve a copay or coinsurance, which is confirmed before the first appointment.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to navigate challenges alone. If you’re ready to begin or would like to learn more, I welcome you to connect.
