About me
Elizabeth Marti is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University. She has worked in forensic psychology and community mental health in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a therapist, Elizabeth is warm, inviting, open, advocating, encouraging, and focuses on an individual’s strengths. Elizabeth considers herself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and a sense of humor with a down-to-earth realistic approach. She believes that healing is a collaborative journey that needs honest care without judgment. Rather than taking a single therapeutic approach, she draws from a variety of methods to ensure person-centered care for each individual and situation. In her free time, she finds peace in nature, gardening/growing, and her abundance of animals.
Compass Behavioral Health in Minnesota provides compassionate, personalized care for individuals facing mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. Their team of licensed therapists offer services including individual and group therapy, family counseling, and medication management. Utilizing evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and hypnotherapy, Compass tailors treatment to meet each client’s unique needs.
Committed to breaking the stigma around mental health, Compass also offers educational programs and community support. Their mission is to promote healing and help clients achieve balanced, fulfilling lives in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
