About me
Elizabeth is a relational and directive couples and family therapist who specializes in working with younger couples, military families, and diverse or non-traditional partnerships. Her work focuses on helping clients understand the patterns that shape their connection, reduce conflict, and build practical skills for communication, emotional regulation, and stability.
With specialized training in systemic and couples-focused therapy, supported by ongoing supervision grounded in advanced EFT practices, Elizabeth brings a structured, emotionally attuned approach to her sessions. She is skilled at helping clients slow reactive cycles, identify the deeper emotions driving conflict, and practice new ways of relating that translate into everyday life.
While she works with coupled with a range of issues, she has specializations in:
Military couples and spouses navigating deployments, reintegration, relocations, and young-family stress
Non-traditional partnerships, including unmarried partners, long-distance relationships, co-parents, blended families, and intercultural couples
Couples with strong personalities, high conflict, or challenges staying emotionally connected
Parents navigating co-parenting, mediation, or restructuring after separation
Clients in rural or underserved areas who benefit from specialized virtual care
Before becoming a therapist, Elizabeth worked in Special Education, strengthening her understanding of neurodiversity, child development, and the unique challenges faced by families and clients who work in school systems. This background enriches her clinical work and contributes to her grounding, steady presence.
