About me

I am a clinical social worker specializing in integration psychotherapy as a complement to psychedelic use for mental health and personal growth.

I received my bachelor's degree in psychology and women studies at UNM and completed my master's in clinical social work at NM Highlands University in 2014. I have worked as a therapist in community settings and at the VA hospital, where ketamine treatments were offered for veterans with depression that was not helped with medication. Many people had improvements in mood but struggled to integrate these changes into their lives without an understanding and supportive psychotherapist. I went on to receive psychedelic integration training from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute and my practice is focused on preparation, support, and integration for this promising new area in mental health treatment.

My practice is telehealth only; however, I am able to attend ketamine treatment sessions in the Albuquerque area with prior approval from the prescribing provider. I am not able to act as a guide/sitter for people while using non-legal medicines or advise/aid in obtaining these substances, but I believe in freedom of individual choice and can help people plan and prepare for safe and healing medicine journeys and make meaning of them afterwards. I can also act as therapeutic support for people who are microdosing psychedelics.

I use an eclectic approach to integration therapy, drawing from several modalities to tailor my approach to each individual. I strongly believe in the inner healing intelligence of each person, and my goal is to help people connect with their own strengths and wisdom to create happy, fulfilled lives.

Integrate Wellness Counseling is an open and welcoming space; people of all ethnicities, religious belief, gender expression, sexual orientation, and immigration status are accepted and respected.
