About me
I am an experienced licensed social worker and specialize in women's mental health, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, interpersonal conflict, and the impact of domestic violence.
I work with adults navigating the effects of trauma, difficult relationships, and life experiences that can feel overwhelming to process alone. With over 13 years of experience as a licensed social worker, including 9 years working closely with survivors of intimate partner violence, I provide warm, trauma-informed care grounded in trust, safety and respect. My background includes working with children, families and adults across a variety of settings, which gives me a broad and compassionate understanding about how life experiences shape us. I specialize in women's mental health, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, interpersonal conflict, and the impact of domestic violence. I also hold certifications as an adult ADHD specialist and in advanced trauma treatment.
Many of my clients come to therapy after experiencing intimate partner violence or when they feel stuck, emotionally drained, or unsure how to move forward. My approach is integrative, drawing from CBT, ACT, IPT, and motivational interviewing. I also offer ADHD-informed support to help with focus, organization, emotional regulation, and self-understanding. I support clients in building insight, strengthening coping skills, increasing motivation for change, and developing healthier boundaries.
