About me
I invite you to show up as who you are. I am bilingual & bicultural (Spanish) & enjoy empowering people from diverse backgrounds. During sessions, we will collaborate to make sense of what you have survived, what helped, what hurts & we will identify thoughts & patterns which might be keeping you stuck. If you choose EMDR Therapy, we can re-start your brain’s natural self-healing abilities so you can heal from traumatic experiences and see yourself & your future through more positive, hopeful eyes. I feel privileged to be a collaborator in someone else’s healing.
You've tried to move forward and get on with your life. In your mind you know you are successful professionally & in your personal life but in your heart you don't feel like you are. You wake up in the morning & the first thing you notice is how nervous, stressed, tired and anxious you feel. Even before you get out of bed you start thinking that no matter how hard you try you're never good enough. What you want more than anything in the world is to be valued for who you are, to feel safe in your relationships & to know your worth. But you're not even sure how to overcome old wounds & patterns that you know are holding you back. Imagine how you would feel if events in your present did not bring back the painful past you tried so hard to forget. You would finally say to yourself, each person is responsible for their own feelings and behaviors. And you would know that you can relax, be yourself & start enjoying your life. People around you would notice your improved self-confidence as you start sharing your opinions, setting limits and saying no. One of the reasons I love working with EMDR Therapy to heal traumatic experiences, is because I get to witness the potential I hold for my clients in my mind, transform into reality “almost like magic.” As we jump-start the brain’s self-healing process, the first thing you will notice is the insights, understanding & decreased sense of disturbance you will feel around traumatic experiences that still haunt you. This is important because it will free you from past patterns that held you back and it will allow you to fully experience your present through more hopeful, positive eyes. If you'd like to learn more about how I can help, I invite you to call me or email me for a free 15 minute consultation.
